EOTC - WAIMARINO ADVENTURE PARK

In Term One of 2025, all of our students will be experiencing a day trip/outdoor education experience at Waimarino Adventure Park, located on the banks of the lower Wairoa River in Bethlehem, Tauranga. Waimarino will  provide our students with either a Kayak or Paddle boarding program.

TRANSPORT & TIMES: 
We will be using buses to transport students to and from Waimarino.
7:15am - Students will need to be at school on their trip day so the bus can leave on time
7:30am - Buses leave CMS (to get to Waimarino for the 9:00am start)
4:00pm - Buses are due back at CMS

TRIP PAYMENT: 
The contribution requested per student is $65 (parent helpers - no charge). You will be invoiced by the school and payment is due a week before the event. Payments can be made using the MUSAC Edge Parent Portal, by eftpos or cash in the school office, or by online banking to our ASB Account 12 3268 0086048 01, please use student's surname, room number and Waimarino as reference. PROGRAMMES:
Tahi Programme (kayak): An introduction to basic kayaking skills with a strong focus on building water confidence while giving everything a go. Rescue training, skill based games and team work followed by adventure park activities.
Paddle board Programme (stand up paddle board): A range of SUP's are used for a fun filled trip down the river. The programme will be filled with paddle board lessons, games and water safety skills. The programme is followed by time in the Adventure Park.
