WIMS Events & Other School Tournaments
We are a member of the WIMS (Waikato Intermediate and Middle Schools) sporting cluster, which provides an array of competitions in which our students can compete against the best in the region. We also enter teams into a range of sports in local and regional School Tournaments throughout the year.
2024 Upcoming WIMS Events:
WIMS Touch - Tuesday 19 March, Albert Park, Te Awamutu
WHEN: Tuesday 19 March
WHERE: Albert Park, Te Awamutu
TIME: Arrive at CMS 7.45am in main carpark for roll call. 8.00am depart CMS, estimated arrival back at CMS is before 3.00pm
COST: $7 (you will be invoiced for this via email from CMS) Please pay by Monday 18 March
WHAT TO TAKE: sunscreen, CMS school hat/cap, black PE short or tights, Cambridge Middle School rugby shirt (to be provided for this event only), lunch, drink bottle, medication if needed.
Appropriate footwear (touch shoes/running shoes) will need to be worn during games. Please note that rugby boots are not permitted.

Students are often required to sign up to trial for these competitions - once teams are selected further information about the event is sent home to parents/caregivers by email and/or paper notice.
